Philippians #1 - Living From Your True Identity
September 8th, 2024

This is the first message in our series going through the book of Philippians verse by verse. A main theme running through this book and series is that of "continuing well"; God finishes what he starts, and he is ready, willing and able to do his part in that. The question is, are we?

This message deals in particular with our identity (who we really are), and how living out our true identity (who God says we are) helps us do our part to continue well.

Philippians #2 - Approving What Is Excellent
September 15th, 2024

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches from Philippians 1:9-11. If we are going to continue well, we need to "approve what is excellent" - in other words, we need to celebrate and do what is godly, healthy and helpful according to God. And according to Philippians 1, we can approve what is excellent when we grow in three key areas: love, knowledge and discernment.

Philippians #3 - Purpose & Potential In Your Pain
September 22nd, 2024

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches through Philippians 1:12-26. This text is all about pain and hardship, and what it means for us to continue well through these obstacles life throws at us.

Philippians #4 - Check Yourself!
September 29th, 2024

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches through Philippians 1:27-30. This short section of scripture is a reminder for us to check ourselves (before we wreck ourselves!). Specifically, if we're going to continue well, we need to examine ourselves up against the truth and reality of the Gospel.

Philippians #5 - Jesus: Our Example And Lord
October 6th, 2024

In this text, Pastor Braden teaches through Philippians 2:1-11. This text contains a few different principles for what we need in order to continue well, but crescendos to a critically important truth: if we're going to continue well as God's people (the Church), we need to see Jesus Christ for who he really is.

Philippians #6 - Attitude Adjustments
October 13th, 2024

In this message, Sean Bosse teaches from Philippians 2:12-16, where we see that it's not just our outward actions that matter, but also our internal attitude. When we pursue a godly attitude in our lives, we can live the lives God has for us to live, and be witnesses to the world around us.

Philippians #7 - 3 Highlights Of A Healthy Church Culture
October 20th, 2024

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches from Philippians 2:17-30. This text gives a snapshot into what a healthy church culture looks like - we definitely need these things in order to continue well!

Philippians #8 - Stand Firm in the Gospel
October 27th, 2024

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches from Philippians 3:1-4:1. This text is all about the Gospel - good news to build your life upon. Here, we see five false gospels and what happens when we build on them, and also the TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ, and what happens when we build upon it!

Philippians #9 - Continuing Through Conflict
November 3rd, 2024

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches from Philippians 4:2-3. This short text deals with conflict amongst believers - yes, it happens, because we are real people! The important thing is how we handle such conflict. Thankfully, God's Word is clear on how we are to do that, and what's at stake in getting conflict resolution right.

Philippians #10 - The Pathway To Peace
November 10th, 2024

In this message, Pastor Braden teaches from Philippians 4:4-9. This is an incredibly famous scripture for a reason: it clearly details how we can experience "the peace of God" (a state of rest and blessing in Jesus where he governs, and not conflict, disorder and fear). Every believer needs this if we're going to continue well!

Philippians #11 - Continuing In Generosity
November 17th, 2024

In this final message in our Philippians series, Pastor Braden teaches on Philippians 4:10-23. Here, we see the concept of Godly generosity - a readiness to give more as God leads us to. If we're going to continue well, we need to possess and practice this kind of generosity!
